When you are hearing “Quantum Computing” it sounds like complicated. Let’s simplify that one by one.

Suppose you are in a Casino. Now You are going to play a game like coin game in a casino’s computers.

Let’s start,

  1. It starts with a coin showing heads, and the computer will play first. It can choose to flip the coin or not. But you cannot see the outcome.
  2. Next your turn and You flip the coin and You can also choose to flip the coin or not and your move will not be revealed to your opponent.
  3. After 3 similar rounds ,the computer will reveal the coin.

So , if it is heads, the computer wins, if it’s tails, you win.

I had a research on this game by participating few random people once and i draw the results on a pie chart.

Normal Computer

See, All the people have a 50% chance of a winning and vise versa the computer also have a 50% of winning chance.

This is how a normal computer behaves which is like people are using nowadays.

The theory behind this is, all the computer are understand/know the binary numbers. i.e. , 0 and 1.

Every machine codes/programs are consisted with 0’s and 1's.In simple words the programs are software or applications. Therefore you can achieve the uncertainty(randomness) from computer by 50%.

Lets think what if we play the same game on a Quantum computer.

This is the result.

Quantum Computer

The Computer always wins. Computer wins 97 times out of 100 and 3 times out of 100 player wins.

3 times player wins , because of the failures of the Quantum computer such like hardware failures.

So you can achieve 100% uncertainty by the quantum computer. It's not upgrade version of a modern(todays) computer. It’s totally different computer which is powered by atomic energy and different hardware.

Now ,You know the Quantum Computing.

Let’s see the advantages of quantum computing,

  1. Quantum uncertainty could be used to create private keys.
Encryption

we can achieve the encryption 100%.Therefore hackers cannot crack or reveal the passwords. They would have to break the laws of quantum physics to hack the key. So, its useful to banking sector and other worldwide organizations.

2. Quantum technologies could also transform health care and medicine.

Medicine

Quantum computing could help to make treatments for diseases like Alzheimer’s, which affects thousands of lives and that’s because the QC exactly describing and calculating all of the quantum properties of all the atoms in the molecule.

3. Teleportation

Teleportation

we can transmit messages one location to another without physically transmitting the information. Because these fluid identities of the quantum particles can get entangled across space and time. If we change something about one particle it can impact other and its create channel for teleportation.

Now You know the Applications of Quantum computing. First Quantum Computer has been built by IBM and now Google also built a Quantum Computer. We hope future will be become better if this new innovations become success.

Thank you.
